My Upcoming Storyline
I’m a writer, so reading books really helps me with my writing skills. I love reading Thriller and Mystery books. I plan to writer a book in this genre soon. I actually already have the title of the book and the gist of a storyline that I plan to write.
It all happened when I was walking through a storage garage during the time I was in between moving last year (2018) and went to my storage unit. This storyline came to my mind while walking through the halls heading to my storage unit one dark night. My storyline started to scare me. LOL! I got out of my storage unit and rushed to the elevator and pushed the down button and looking around thinking to myself, “come on, open up now!!!” I got in quickly.
When I got off the elevator by the entrance of the door, I noticed something (I’m not going to say what that “something” is, but just know that it gave me confirmation that I have to write this fiction book. It stopped me dead in my tracks, but a few moments later, I ran out the entrance and into the van.
I drove fast to the gate looking around as I quickly pushed my gate code. While the gate was opening, I couldn’t push the button quick enough to close the window. You would have thought I was being chased by a real person, but it was a character that I made up while I was at the storage place. LOL!
I dashed through the gate once it opened and ended up stopping at the top of the hill. Whew, I looked back and of course, no one was there, but just the thought of my storyline in my head freaked me out. I just knew this was going to be a good write. I jotted down some notes and drove away in excitement.
I hope that you enjoy skimming through all the books and grabbing the ones you would like to read. This usually takes me up to at least 2+ hours to do. The process is quick because the cover artwork and title catches my eyes, however reading the blurb determines if I’m going to download the book to add to my library.
My life is so busy that I have to get my reading in where I can fit it in. LOL! I’m currently still reading my client’s books. I have several clients that are writers and authors. They come first! I do have a late night hard copy book that I take time to read (if I’m not too tired.) before I go to bed. I LOVE hard copy books still, (and I have a book shelf closet in my bedroom that has over 100+ books and a storage unit that holds at least 200+ books. (I’ll count all of them one day to be exact, LOL) Yes, I admit, I do physical and eBook binges. I can’t help it! LOL!
